PARENT ADVISORY COUNCIL

The Parent Advisory Council (PAC) grew out of the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) legislation Act. PAC is a parent organization whose purpose is to address the educational and social needs of parents/guardians while their children attend public school. The PAC receives federal funding to meet these needs. PAC meetings are held on the third Friday of every month in room 101, located on the 1st floor of the school. In recent years PAC has sponsored trainings on parent-child communication, strengthening children's reading skills, understanding bullying, family nutrition, health, and many parenting topics.  The PAC funds and distributes a monthly parent resource letter titled Home & School Connection®.   PSC elections are held annually.
